The itch to start over.
The itch to redo everything. Again. I've got the decorating bug!
I've been inspired for so many years by Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic Style
I've spent years gathering treasures for my little places.
This is the last Shabby Chic thing I purchased, it makes my top ten list of favorite things.
These were found in a little antique mall at the Janss Mall in Thousand Oaks. I have two.
I found these pictures by Angela Staehling in a sweet little shop in Agoura that is no longer there. That was a sad day!
.
This was from an Antique mall (not an antique) in The Janss Mall that has moved to the
Agoura Antique Mart. These are
just a few of my favorite Shabby Chic things.
But I have that itch...
Recently my daughter gave me a darling beach sign for my birthday (that story here) that was made by
I put it up in my place and ever since, I've wanted to go from
Shabby Chic
to
Coastal Cottage
I didn't realize I was headed that way until I took a good look at my recent additions.
I've recently developed an appreciation for seashells. These were a gift from my sister.
It seems everywhere I turn I see darling Beachy stuff that would look great in a
little Coastal cottage...
Yikes!
I think I'm gonna do it!
Bye Bye Shabby Chic... Hello Coastal to be continued...
