Three days with A toddler and a Tea Cup

I spent what felt like a year a few days in Westlake Village visiting my daughter Ashley
and my adorable grandson, Wesley at the beginning of the week.
This is a trip I love to take and count down the days before I get to see them again.
But this trip was a little different...
I was going to be a few day so I had to bring my
(I was told he was a Tea Cup) Yorkie, Troy.
He is 5 years old and currently weighs in at 12 lbsNot 6 lbs as I was told

I guess I treat him like a baby at home but didn't realize it until now. He is a little bit spoiled.
Wesley woke up in his Woody PJ's all cute and cuddly and was very happy
to see his G-Ma and Troy
and that's when all the fun started...

It was like having two 2 year olds!
The fought over toys. They didn't listen. They wouldn't eat.
They both wanted G-Ma to pick them up and hold them all day.
If I gave one attention the other one would whine or cry or try to get into my lap.

The teased each other all day and night.
Wesley would tease Troy with the walking leash.  He would push Troy out of his bed so he could get in it.  Troy chewed up Wesley's toys and spit his dog food on the floor. Wesley dumped out Troys water all over the kitchen floor.  Troy is not allowed on the carpet but stopped listening to me after a day.
I spent three days with two out of control toddlers!
All I could think about was how will I ever be able
to handle more then one grandchild at a time.

...and then just about the time I thought I was gonna go crazy...
something amazing happened

I guess I am ready to be a G-Ma again!

I'm ready for some pink to go with that blue!

Too cute! That's how Landon and my parents' dogs are too. It's a love/hate relationship.

Wes looks SOOOO old with that adorable haircut! When did they get so big?

Oh my goodness...look at that last picture! That is absolutely lovely.
It kind of sums it all up huh? No matter what happens at the end of the day a dog will always be there to comfort and protect his boy.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time!

they were both a little out of control, weren't they. But it was sure sweet when they cuddled toghether--even if troy made wesleys blankee smell like stinky dog. xoxo -me
