Redondo Beach Life Buy The Beach

Life Buy the Beach was created because of my love for  the beach and my desire to explore and discover all the exciting things the beach has to offer.
The shops, resturants, concerts and festivals.  The people, the hotels, the properties, the parks and liburary's. We can explore them together and find out what makes Redondo Beach such a special place!
The plan is to inspire all of you to get out and enjoy all the wonderful ways the beach can make you feel and explore all the exciting and fun things there is to do.
I’ve loved every beach I've ever visited but I now call Redondo Beach my home.

I knew I would someday live on the beach in Redondo.  My very favorite person in the whole wide world, Auntie Sheila Stogsdill (rest her soul) raised her family in Redondo Beach and we would visit her for almost every holiday growing up.
(More about Auntie Sheila later but here is a photo of her with my siblings and my dad)
(Thats me in the blue dress and Auntie Sheila next to me.)
On special days my dad (see dad in photo above) would drive down The Esplanade and take the back way up to their house in the Hollywood Riviera.  I can still remember thinking… I’m gonna live here someday.  Well that someday has finally happened.   40 years later… but it’s never too late.
So here goes… This is my little beach cottage.
I know it looks huge.  But let me explaine.  I share this beautiful 1906 built house with 3 others.  It is actually a big beautiful home that has been turned into 4 units.  My little cottage is the bottom left.  The blue chairs are mine.  It’s a small one bedroom with a gigantic view and fantastic neighbors!

This is where I sit at night and watch the sunset.

"If you are lucky enough to live on the beach...you are lucky enough."
I saw this sign in that cute little card shop in The Village next to Trader Joe's yesterday.  It made me smile!
